At CeRCA, we view mangroves not only as an ecosystem but, a community asset in enhancing resilience against disasters with multiple provisioning services. Our work on mangroves includes studying climate vulnerabilities of the coastal habitats, supporting local participation in restoring mangrove ecosystems and promoting mangrove-inclusive disaster risk reduction policies.
